About Us
ETREC is a new initiative for small and medium contractors within the electrical, telecommunications and renewable energy sectors.
ETREC is not an employer association or a trade union. It is an independent not for profit organization that provides services, benefits advice and support which will advance the common welfare of contractors, their families and the industry.
ETREC provides our members with a voice on safety, skills, licensing, apprenticeships, government policy, renewable energy and issues generally beneficial to the trade, the community and the environment.
Our goal is to promote better relations between contractors, unions, governments and relevant industry groups.
Some of ETREC's objectives are:

- Promote Uniformity of Practice.
- Foster and support legislation generally beneficial to the trade and the public.
- Promote and maintain a high standard of professional ethics and practice.
- Discourage unethical and illegal practices and professional abuses in the trade.
- Advance education of contractors in electrical, telecommunications and renewable energy.
- Provide benefits and services which will assist members to build their enterprise and improve their standard of living and quality of life.
