Discounted and Personalized OH&S Policy, Management System, induction and free email and telephone support

ETREC will now provide financial ETREC members with an Occupational Health and Safety Management System. This System is in accordance with the requirements of the Victorian OH&S Act 2004, OH&S Regulations 2007 and WorkSafe Victoria protocols, Building Industry Standards together with the Codes of Practice and Compliance Codes.

The system will be provided in both hard and soft copy and personalized with your company name and logo.


Training Session – OH&S Policy and Management System:

This  session is designed to induct ETREC members into the use of their Occupational Health & Safety System. This training session will also help familiarize Members with forms, procedures and company policies. Our training course is presented as a PowerPoint presentation, which runs for approx. 2 to 3 hours. All participants will be supplied with a copy of the presentation as a participants’ guide, which will act as a reference to assist them in the future.

Note: your partner or wife can attend this training session for free, just let us know in advance.


No cost on-going telephone/email back-up support will be provided  to Members of ETREC:

Your OHS management plan and induction on how to implement that plan to suit the members specific circumstance is supported by ongoing telephone and email support at no cost to financial members.

Safe Work Method Statements:

Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) will be developed to enable Members to either use (after perusal and consultation with their employees) or act as examples of what are required by the Legislation, Regulation 2007 and Industry Standards to enable Electrical companies and electricians to carry out their works on a daily basis with the knowledge that their system is in place.


Supply of an Occupational Health and Safety Management Plan:

This OH&S Management Plan will be developed to suit individual needs of each Member of ETREC. This Plan will incorporate the following:

  • Company Policy Statement
  • Roles and Responsibilities of Employer, Employees and Sub-Contractors
  • Occupational Health and Safety Training
  • Health and Safety Procedures
  • Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Control Measures
  • How to Develop a SWMS
  • Prevention of Falls
  • Plant/Equipment and Public Safety Requirements
  • Accident and Incident Reporting Procedures
  • Necessary Forms for Verification Purposes
  • Co-ordination Plans (if required)
