ETREC and our partner organizations have a strong commitment to electrical safety, quality, reliability and providing energy efficient solutions. ETREC is also dedicated to supporting SME electrical contractors in raising standards in energy efficiency and the Renewable Energy Sector as well as assisting in building their businesses.

With this in mind ETREC provides electrical contractors the opportunity to become a licensed GLOBAL GREEN ELECTRICIAN (GGE) CONTRACTOR when they complete the Cert IV Electrical Photovoltaic training or equivalent, and incorporate an Occupational Health and Safety Management Plan into their business. GGE’s must also agree to adhere to a strict code of ethics and must hold all applicable solar electrical qualifications, licenses insurances and accreditations and agree to be audited on an annual basis. ETREC will also assist members in obtaining their Clean Energy Council Accreditation through our Members Photovoltaic Mentoring Program.

For those who want to go further and complete the Global Green Electricians 5 day Renewable & Energy Efficiency Training Course there is the option of becoming a GLOBAL GREEN ELECTRICIAN (GGE) CONTRACTOR & ENERGY ASSESSOR.
