ETREC represents members

At last count, ETREC is currently active on five government and industry committees including:


Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) Sustainable and Emerging Energy Technology Consultative Committee
This Committee shares information and knowledge on industry trends and developments and provide ESV with guidance and advice on training and the regulatory arrangements that will ensure the safe installation, operation and maintenance of new and emerging technologies.

 

Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) Sustainable and Emerging Energy Technical Sub Group
ETREC ensures that a working contractor member represents members on technical issues which will ensure the safe installation, operation and maintenance of new and emerging technologies.

  

EPIC Industry Training Board (EPIC ITB)
ETREC represents small working contractors on the EPIC Industry Training Board which services Victoria’s Electrotechnology, Printing and Information Technology & Telecommunications industries. The EPIC ITB, through its industry-led Board acts as a conduit for industry between Government, Government agencies and other key training stakeholders including RTOs.

 

GGE and Mandatory Electrical Testing Accreditation Steering Committee
ETREC as a committee member oversees the accreditation and content of the GGE and Mandatory Electrical Testing Courses

 

National ElectroComms and EnergyUtilities Industry Skills Council
ETREC and its partners have succeeded in delivering over $450,000 in federal government funding for its members as part of the Certifi cate IV Electrical Photovoltaic training program through the National Development and Funding Program
