Global Green Electricians training Course and Photovoltaic Qualification Course
A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY IN RENEWABLE AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY ACCREDITATION COMBINED WITH A NATIONAL PHOTOVOLTAIC QUALIFICATION
FOR ETREC MEMBERS
This is to advise that ETREC and Electrical Electronic Industry Training Ltd (EEIT) have finalised negotiations with Government funding agencies and offer members access to a unique renewable and energy efficiency training and accreditation program.
This offer commences with the Victorian Accredited - 5 Day Global Green ElectricianTM (GGE) training course immediately followed by the nationally accredited photovoltaic qualification course: Certificate IV – Photovoltaics as one complete program.
The normal total cost to complete these training courses is around: $2,300.00.
With funding assistance ETREC and EEIT offer the same outcome for: $590.00*.
*Only valid for members who sign up for a 12-month membership.
This once-off program therefore saves ETREC members $1,700.00 in direct cost but importantly is completed with 1 day per week for 10 working days of direct/face-face training.
This substantially reduces lost time off-the-job and is achieved by a combination of credits provided from the GGE course, off-the-job projects and a concentrated package of training delivery. For the Certificate IV – Photovoltaics component flexibility in course delivery will also be offered as part of the program.
The funding for this unique program for ETREC members is limited to only 150 places that must be filled on a “first-in” basis.
The program commences with the first courses in the first week of June 2010 with a total of 10 courses of 15 per course.
The funding arrangements require your commitment to undertake the complete 10 Day program Therefore a signed agreement between ETREC and EEIT, the person (or business representative for REC employees), is required including prior payment in full.
If you are interested in undertaking the program please email the Secretary of EEIT, Graeme Watson identifying your Expression of Interest for the program and quote your ETREC membership number. You will then be included onto the list of the 150 REC’s.

As part of the registration for the program an agreement would then be forwarded to you and EEIT will then contact you directly to finalise course commencement dates including prior program payment.
