ETREC Represents SME contractors on Energy Safe Victoria’s (ESV) Sustainable and Emerging Technology Consultative Committee

ETREC has already gained significant recognition within the industry and now has representatives on Energy Safe Victoria’s Sustainable and Emerging Energy Technology Consultative Committee and EPIC Industry Training board’s Electro Technology Council.

Steve Balnaves, REC and ETREC field officer will represent members on Energy Safe Victoria’s (ESV) Sustainable and Emerging Technology Consultative Committee.
The purpose of this Committee is to discuss emerging challenges, technologies with the current focus on solar installations.

The purpose of this Committee is to provide Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) with information and knowledge on industry trends and developments and to provide guidance and advice on training and the regulatory arrangements that will ensure the safe installation, operation and maintenance of new and emerging technologies.
This Committee is an advisory and consultative committee and not a decision making committee.

Regarding solar installations, Committee members are to report any odd, random and even small issues and events to ESV for documentation and follow up. If you have any issues that you would like tabled call Steve on 0419 872387 or email him on steve@etrec.com.au

Both ESV and ETREC will send any valuable information out to inspectors and REC’s via email.
